Yes they are.
The best bagel I ever had was in New York on 6th Avenue and 8th Street at Bagel Buffet.
Their sesame with vegetable cream cheese is unbeatable.
However in London you will find the best bagels in Brick Lane

dont know about the jewish part, but being from NYC I know the Bagels there are the best. Toasted with butter or just with cream chees. YOu will love 'em

yes! NY bagels are unlike any other bagel. I'm not sure about the jewish part, but I`ll take your word for it.

i don't really care for bagels.
