its like saying you refuse to accept Ed (you may already be a winner!) McMahon's check bc he is a (reformed) drunk, and they hate drunks! or to be a millionaire, or billionaire bc of how evil they are! people are people evil rich poor sadistic sad lonely happy Loving godly. be an individual for you, not not be something or even be something, bc someone else is or isn't. satan loves robots, God created everyone of us an individual.

"christian" is to be Christ like, in no way does it mean to be or belong to a religion of any order. nor does it mean we cant be, or belong to one. however, Jesus loves God, God loves Jesus. we are to be as Christlike as humanly possible and where we cant, we are to have faith God the Father will give us strength beyond our human capablities which is always in all ways! Amen

its hypocritical to think so bc whether one or wasnt a drunk a sinner or not should in no way give reason to be or not be a participant one way or the other. it is always the individuals choice for their reason alone. when we make an excuse bc "they" then we are attempting to remove accountabiltiy of self.

Your analogy doesn't make sense. It might, if you were implying that people were saying they weren't christian because christians *used to be* evil. But that's not what you're claiming. You're claiming that these people say they *are* evil, not were. So no, it's not hypocritical.

Well, Ed McMahon doesn't put himself out there as the representative of money, but Christians are representatives of their faith (at least back in the days when I went to church, that is what we were taught to be). If the representatives of that faith come off as evil and sinful, then the people those faithful are supposed to witness to get an impression of Christianity as a no good religion. I doesn't help matters when other Christians then don't have the nerve say anything against those they feel may be presenting Christianity in a bad light, because then that gives the impression that such bad behavior is approved of by mainstream Christianity.
So, don't just blame the people who reject Christianity, blame the people who have done so much to make Christianity look bad in the eyes of others.

Maybe they just don't want to be associated with the belief system...not everyone thinks Christianity is a favorable belief system. It would be hypocritical if they thought Christians were all evil and sinful yet still played right along also being evil and sinful...you have misused the phrase. Silly or stupid would be a better word if the person believed Christianity as the truth yet didn't follow it due to the actions of others.

I think that some people see Christians going on and on about loving God and so forth while they sin without remorse until they are caught. Or maybe the Christians they encounter seem angry and upset all the time so why would they want to be like that? Sure, it's easy to say that we shouldn't use others as examples of what they profess to do and then watch their actions, but most people think that something is worth buying if others are happy with it.

You're right. There are evil people all over the world, Christian or not. Being a Christian does not make you evil. A lot of us believe that being a Christian stopped us from being evil. People always have to hate. If they don't hate other races, it's other religions. It stopped bothering me a long time ago because I am secure in who and what I am - a gentle, moral Christian.

Who says Christians are evil?
What's evil are the followers of any specific religion claiming their beliefs to be the only right beliefs....and then forcing those beliefs on others.
What is evil is the hate that comes from self proclaimed religious folks who can't keep it to themselves...or at least spread their thoughts peacefully while perhaps helping those in need at the same time. Like missionaries are supposed to do..

"inspite of" nicely placed. I believe maximum of what you stated, and that i'm a Christian, not in any respect a KKK. We attempt this judging of others in communities more advantageous than in simple terms in faith. All Italians are in prepared crime or Mafia, all Hispanics are unlawful, all this or that. One evil individual, one corrupt individual does not a race, a collection or a faith make that merchandise incorrect. We as a people concern the unknown. What we examine or listen of many violent acts of extremist reason concern in a lot of for they don't understand the version. Muslim are good people. Many are excitable, yet that too is authentic in communities the position there is false impression. If i idea all male Christians were KKK, i doesn't grow to be responsive to myself with them, i'd proceed to be a "Christian" for each and each and every of the justifications i'm now, yet would say i turned right into a Christ followers or something, not Christian/KKK. Now, one section i'd like that you'll re-evaluate. Deuteronomy is a e book used to verify some order to a civilized people, those are the people of God, the Israelite. God is education them many stuff, with rules and such, how he expects them to stay. one in all those issues become purity of the race. yet another that he's to be the purely God earlier them. 2 issues the following to consider--in case you date/marry someone except between the people, you've mixed blood and possibilities are extreme diverse gods. So God frowned upon that in the era of the old testomony You took the 12th verve out of context. He had already given a way out--by using the fashion of witnesses so lack of existence did not might want to come. yet even as it receives so undesirable, the fellow refuses to adhere to even the priest and decide and superb himself, he's to be stoned. even if, now it is a needed factor--in simple terms him, not others of alternative tribes or beliefs. The extremist of the Muslims confer with infidels--all infidels--accordingly non-believer of Allah and they are to be killed. God did not say that in Deuteronomy--what he did say is one interior the Israelite who fails to adhere to the rules is to be stoned. even as i do not believe the faith of Islam, I pray continually on your accurate of idea, with freedom to exercising that accurate. God Bless
