why even think about that?

humans are not the only ones capable of feeling joy, pity, love or compassion. I would think in heaven those feelings would only be amplified.
and however much those who don't make it to heaven will deserve what they get, I think it is wrong to laugh at them. Would you laugh now at a person being tortured
your question also assumes that all answerers will go to heaven, and though I certainly hope that I will I might not necessarily...

Heaven & Hell were inventions of the Zoroastrian priests, the magi. When you are in outer space, there is no up or down, so where are Heaven & Hell? The concepts of Heaven & Hell are ancient ones that were created in the Middle East. They were cultural explanations for what happens to good and bad people, after death.

Perhaps neither one exists. Maybe what lies beyond is a creation of an infinite god and not understandable by we, finite beings.

Whatever is after this life, as we know it, is probably more profound than we could ever imagine. Hopefully, there will be peace, positive relationships, and a clean environment.

Despite what people believe the wicked will not be burning in hell forever and we live in heaven for ever. The Bible says that the soul that sin will die. Who lives forever then if some are hell and some are heaven. The Bible says only those who accept Jesus will live for eternity. The Bible speaks of a judgement and the just taking part in it - the books were opened and the saints were able to see the judgement of the wicked - why they are lost and then we will see that God is just. Only God knows the heart and the secret thing but all will be revealed in the day of judgement as the Bible says. Revelation says that after judgement is fulfilled the new earth will be made and sin and sinners will be no more. God's justice doesn't demand eternity of anguish for say 20 yrs of sin you get eternity to pay for it - that wouldn't represent a just and loving God. No one burns in hell forever!

Heaven to me is like cashing in on your lottery ticket for a million bucks. Hell is like throwing away the winning ticket. The anguish of hell will be internal, just as the joy will be internal.

Heaven in knowing you made it to the first seats in the grand eternal play in the front seats, where our focus will be to the GOD ALMIGHTY. Like the planets rotating around the Sun, we who make it will know deep within our souls that we have TRULY MADE IT into the GRAND ORBIT of heaven, where each being is rotating on its own axis while rotating about the SPIRITUAL SUN!!

The closer we are to God in our life, the tighter will be our circle around the LORD MOST HIGH. The more good we do, the larger shall be the scale of our planet, and they will obsorb more warmth from the HOLY SUN, which is the MIGHTY ONE.

Those who did not believe in the orbit or did not carry the fuel to rise to join the orbit, will be lost in the wilderness of space, knowing deep within that they lost the opportunity of being in the presence and company of the BEST, and the loss is for ever.

THIS REALIZATION is HELL!! ... and no one can explain it, except for those who have lost something dear!!

I hope I am making sense/

In the story of Lazerus and the rich man, we are given just a small glimpse of Hell.

It is safe to say that the rich man can see into heaven from Hell, but it is not stated that Lazerus can see the rich man.

Will you spend eternity in heaven looking for your loved ones, it is safe to say NO, all tears are wiped away and you will understand why certain people are in hell.

I'm not going to Heaven, but I am excited to laugh at all my loved ones being tortured with me in Hell.

Wouldn't matter because in heaven there is no saddness, pity, etc. Besides, when I get to heaven the last thing I'm going to be doing is sitting around watching the people who aren't in heaven with me.

You have my permission to laugh at me. In fact, I'll owe you 50 bucks.

Oh, no, don't worry, you won't owe me anything if you're wrong. I'll take this bet for nothing. No seriously, the 50 bucks is all yours in heaven. Good luck!

My guess is that you'll be so enthralled with the glory of God and the splendor of heaven and meeting Jesus and reuniting with people who passed on before you and maybe meeting the oldest members of your family that you never met on earth, and singing praises to God, that you won't be thinking about the people who didn't choose God and join Him in heaven.
