shouldn't a comment about a philosopher be in the philosophy section?

No, I don't. I understand where they're coming from, but... not everything in science must have something to do with myth. I mean science doesn't study black holes to disprove some myth about black holes. There was no myth about them before they were theorized, so no, it doesn't have to start with myth. Just one example. It only seems like science starts with myth because ignorant people have crammed myth into every little corner where there's something we don't know.
