Yes they are my dad is a pilot he says that they are. you have trun it off on take offs and landings though

Yes, but you can't use them on take off and landing. I couldn't stand to fly w/o my iPod friend - have books and music. Love listening to books on airplanes.

Yes- it is considered a electronic device and is allowed to be used when flying but not when landing/taking off.

Yes. They allow lap tops too. You should probably wait until you're either given permission or you're in the air. They don't allow mobile phones though as that gives off a signal.

Yes. You can't use them while taking off or when landing. The pilot or flight attendants will let you know when they are allowed to be used as well as when they need to be put away.

Yes ... they just don't want you having them on while taking off or landing. Also, get some noise-canceling earphones. Makes the trip palettable without hearing those noisy engines.

YEAH. IF IT'S A LONG FLIGHT THEN YOU BETTER HOPE YOU HAVE A LOT OF BATTERY LEFT IN THE CHARGE BECAUSE IT'S GONNA GET BORING.
