If your kitty is throwing up a lot the first thing you want to check is to see if she is dehydrated.
To do so, grab the skin on her back and give it a gentle twist. If the skin is slow to return to it's natural state you should go to the vet right away.
Cats are resilient creatures. They will only throw up a few times max if they are still healthy. If they keep throwing up until they have nothing left to throw up and they aren't drinking water, this is an indication that something is really wrong internally. Most likely with their digestive system. I would be more worried about your cat not drinking, rice will not help in this case.

Your cat is very sick you cant give it rice. That's probably what got the poor thing sick in the first place (house food). You need to take your cat to the vet. And if you cant afford it then your going to have to keep a close eye on it. Give it water, can food and make sure he/she doesn't dehydrate. Over all I think your cat will be OK.

If your cat has been throwing up a lot for two days, she has to go to the vet ASAP! There's definitely something wrong and could be serious.
You can, in fact, give her cooked rice and chicken, which is actually a good thing to give them (make sure there is no ONION ingredient in anything you give her -- especially when her immune system is already compromised) You can also give her "meat" babyfood, but make sure to get the Beechnut brand and read the label anyway to ensure no onion powder, onion flakes, onion-anything is in it.

Take her to the vet Right Now. She could have swallowed something she can't pass, like a pin, an earring - you wouldn't believe the things a cat can swallow. Or she could have an internal infection, parasites, anything.
Anyhow, you could feed her cooked rice but how's she going to keep it down?

cats eat grass so that bad/old saliva can be pushed out. So they throw up...so if there aren't any food particles, don't be so alarmed. And yes you could give it cooked rice. But if it seems bad, go to a vet.

Without knowing "why" your cat is throwing up, I would do nothing of the sort. Take kitty straight to the vet for a check up and testing to see what the problem is. Then see what to feed by vets instructions.

plain white rice is fine if you are thinking of a bland diet. maybe some boiled chicken too. BUT, if your kitty has been throwing up for 2 days and you haven't already taken him/her to the vet then you should do this asap! you dn't want kitty to dehydrate and you need to find out the cause for the throwing up.

First of all..... if she's been throwing up for 2 days, she's sick.
You need to take her to the vet.
Second.... why would you give her rice? She should be restricted to a diet of cat food only. It will give her all the nutrients she needs to be healthy.
I hope she will be okay. I'll say a prayer for her.

Go to the vet immediately-regular rice is NOT good for cats-people food is for people!! Vomiting is a sign that something is going wrong w/ her insides and she may even have been poisoned....
