Hmmm well you want it to be unique since she already knows its coming. I think it would be cool if you could find a tin or wood box in the shape of a heart that locks. Then have a date she will never forget. Start out in the morning with a great breakfast at a cute place. Give her a card telling her how much you love her and have the key to the lock with it. She'll ask what the keys for and you tell her its the key to your heart. She'll think you are just being cute, tell her how special she is and that you just want to have a nice day with her. Take her to get her nails done, get a massage whatever she might like. Maybe see a romantic movie just have a fun day. Suggest to her that you have a picnic for dinner. Inlist some friends to help you with this. While you and your gf are at the store buying wine, cheese, a disposable camera and chocolates they can be at your picnic location setting up a blanket and glasses with a nice picnic basket and your heart box w/ the ring in it. Have them call you when its ready, you should already be close by, then surprise her with the romantic spot. Give her the heart tin, when she sees the lock she will realize what the key was for. While she is fiddling with the lock get on your knee, she'll open the box and it will be empty, she'll look at you and you will have the ring in your hand then its your time to shine. I dunno I think it would be an awesome proposal!!

I would love a thoughtful proposal. I would buy that invisible thread you know the one that looks like floss. String the ring in the medicine cabinet at night, put the toothpaste in the cabinet or something that she would have to use in the morning and if it isn't in its normal spot ask you where it is. Stand at the door after I tell her where to look for it so that when she opens it its at eye level then pop the question. It would be completely unexpected and a great story to tell your children and grandchildren. I would love for a man to do that for me. I have more for you but not enough time right now feel free to contact me and I will be sure to brain storm with you. Sorry about the run on sentences I am getting ready to leave work and could not pass up answering this question. Men like you are damn near non existant and I am more than happy to help!!

I think the most romantic proposal would be at the top of the statue of liberty(only if she is into history) or the Eiffel tower. Now if that is totally out of the budget. Then I suggest taking her to a romantic restaurant and then having a ride under the moonlight in a horse drawn carriage. Also if you go onto the Disney world website you can find info on how to propose there at one of their restaurant it looked so cool on food network.Just remember the best proposal is one that is special about you like.Maybe you met at a flower shop so put the ring around a rose or something like that.

I won't have the most romantic answer for you, but I bet I have the funniest and most original. I was in a long distance relationship and we seldom saw each other. I went to pick him up at the airport after a long dry spell. lol Anyway, when we got home of course the first thing we did was go to the bedroom. Right in the middle of things, he suddenly jumps up out of the bed and says stay right there. He starts going through his luggage and I'm thinking he's bought me a "toy". He comes back to the bed and gets on his knee, buck naked, with a raging erection, and presents me the ring and asks me to marry him. I laughed until I almost cryed and said yes, NOW, can we get back to business? lol

~When I walked into the dining room, there was a beautiful silver tray in the center of the table. There were rose petals strewn all around it. When I came close enough to see the contents of the tray, I saw it was covered with a white, shiny powder. In the center of the tray, my husband had written "I Love You...Wanna Get Married?" I wrote back "Yes" and then we snorted the rest.

It was so romantic.

I proposed to my wife in front of Disney in Orlando, Florida She never knew it was coming and it also took her two hrs after the crying to have enough strengh to see the park. She sat evey 50 ft to look at the ring. It was great and we will never forget it. Never !!!

My husband proposed to me when we were hiking. We stopped by a river and were sitting on this huge rock. He was standing behind me so i could lean on him. He pointed to the sunlight hitting the water and said, "Isn't it shiny?" That was weird, but i said yeah. Then he pulled the ring around in front of me and said, "Isn't it shiny?" Then he got down on one knee. It was perfect. I had no idea.

my husbands cousin proposed at a boston red sox game. he had them put it on the score board during the 7th inning stretch.. the funny thing is, she was like"oh my God, someone else has my name and they're being asked if they want to get married. She looked down and saw her fiance on one knee and ring in hand. It's really cute.

My husband hid mine in my Christmas present. My sister in law found hers in her pancakes. Get creative. Good luck to you both.
