In May I had a kidney taken out through a small incesion to give to my brother. It's been about six weeks now, and have the ok to start working out. The thing is I don't know what I should start with aside from walking. The incesion is right next to my belly button, and is still a little tender to the touch. If I stretch to much it still hurts. My stomach feels so weak. Any HELPFUL advise will be greatly appreciated!

Generally, take it slowly for a while. EASY stretching, small weights, swimming, and bicycling might help. I've had kidney surgery too, and those helped me.

Why don't you talk to your doctor with your concerns, see if you can go see a physical therapist to help you work through these things.

Hope you feel better.
