I am looking to propose and would love to hear about romantic places in Boston. Restaurants, maybe a romantic little place that has a jazz quartet for dancing, or a place secluded place with a phenominal view.

Two ideas. One is to rent an authentic Italian Gondola complete with singing oarsman, violin player, and wine, and go out on the charles river.

2 - Go to a restaurant called Locke-Ober. They still have private dining rooms for 2. A very rare find, and one of Boston's oldest and best restaurants.

Boston Common is good, but try the Swan Boats next door in the Public Garden, also any romantic Italian restaurant in the North End, intimate dining al fresco and with old neighborhood charm, or perhaps you would prefer to propose at Top of the Hub, the restaurant for making a statement!

The Boston Commons, the oldest and most beautiful park in the nation. Secluded, great views, and world famous ducks. (Remember the children's book "Make way for ducklings"?)

I recommend either on a duck tour, Boston Common, or in the middle of Faneuil Hall

Honestly... Boston isn't that romantic.

Try New York City!

(or if you REEEEEEEEEALY have you heart set on Boston try it on the bank of the Charles)
