my hair tends to get kinda hard because i swim and dive daily. also my hair can get kind of oily if i use realy oily shampoos. whats a good shampoo to get rid of all the chlorine and leave my hair soft and smelling good? cause stuff like denorex/selsun blue tends to make my hair smell really strong and not too great.

Try using professional shampoos and conditioners from a salon for damaged hair. I really like the Biolage Fortifying Therapy. The ph level in salon products is best for your hair. All other shampoos are not balanced and because you swim alot, the chlorine and unbalanced shampoo is more damaging to your hair. It will take at least a week or so to get your hair's ph balance to where it should be. You could also try using a deep conditioner at least once a week.

You can get special shampoos that do that, but I just use suave daily clairifying shampoo for normal to oily hair... works for me, and i've got blonde hair that's stayed blonde, not turned green
