It is all relative. I own a pair, and I have to admit they are way, way more comfortable than I would have guessed. They looked to me like they'd be torturous, and they really are fairly comfortable. But that being said, would I want to go on a long hike in them? Naahh...

I have wide, flat feet, and the Teva's I owned were amazingly comfortable. Just make sure you apply plenty of SPF 45 on your feet... I ended up with a weird Teva tan on my feet, and it took me 2 years to fade it out... =)

Hi, I own pair of Teva sandals called "Women's Pretty Rugged Leather" and it is comfortable to wear it. It was fanastic to walk on it, even in hot countries. I recommend you to buy similar one with Teva!

Before buying this, my mum lost my sandals(!) and I had to go on holiday, I had to rush and brought pair of rubber sandal (of different name brand) and it left me with blisters on feet - never again!

Hope this helps.

I find them sturdy, comfortable, and sure footed on wet surfaces. However, I would choose other shoes, with more support and cushioning, if were going to be doing really a lot of walking and standing. Then again, I'm pushing 60.

Yes, I have a pair I bought 5 years ago. People told me I was nuts for spending $50 on sandles. I would do again and again. I also have a pair of Birkenstocks. They are one year old and still make my feet sore.

Yes - the pair I own have been extremely comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to wear them for a day of walking.

they are one of the best ones.....esp for travelling! I've owned a pair for about 2 years now, and they are still good. They are quite light too.
