I'm an aspiring GRAPHIC DESIGNER, if there are any experienced graphic designers out there, would you please tell me whether I need the better precision from those new laser mice, or am I ok with an optical mouse? I may not need it now, but will I? And please don't suggest tablets, I'm not interested in one of those yet

If you are veeeery slow in moving your mouse (Or reduce the mouse tracking), you can move one pixel at a time for the most percision your computer can handle, even on an optical mouse (Hey, I can do it, so can you!)

yea thy are more convenient, no sticking of the mouse ball. Get one the wireless ones which is extremely convenient
