I went swimming ONCE at the community center and someone gave me a nice present, it's on the sole of my foot. It's one of those nasty ones that is buried into your skin and isn't raised, and has the tiny little red bump on the top of it, kind of weird layers around around it. It seems pretty deep.

How the hell do I get rid of it? Anything I shouldn't do to it? It's soooo gross, a little painful and I want it gone! Any suggestions other than that compound goo that you get at the drugstore -- I've heard that it doesn't work so great.... can I poison the fungus or what?

THANK YOU.

Sounds like a plantars wart. Cryo freeze. Excision is best. Must see doc for that. Do it now before it gets too bad, if they have to refer you out you may be waiting a while so might as well get it on the go.

Is it fungal? Then tea tree oil is anit fungal. So are the ingredients in Vick's Vapor Rub.

Are you SURE this is a wart?

Sounds more like a blister to me. Warts are very tiny and are skin colored, not red. They usually aren't really deep either, they kind of hang off the skin, like a mole does.

I'm thinking maybe you should see a doctor. This really doesn't sound like a wart to me.

You should see a dermatologist. I have burned those off as deep as I could and have them recur. You are right about the drug store products. I used an electic needle or hyfrocater.

I had one of those, they're terrible. I used that Dr. Scholls freeze away stuff, it worked great. I used it once, and in two or three days it was completely gone. And never came back!

of there are lots of different warts. i had one, first i used to do a medicein on it to remove it, it was for warts and then It started hurting me. and I went to remove it with nitrogen gas. it got removed! and it did not hurt! do it, go to the doctor and tell him you want to get it removed, and he will tell you the ways you can get rid of it. it is nothing to worry about!
