you could either

1.) make it a smaller image by changing the size of the pic % wise OR

2.) make it slightly less quality (hardly noticeable at some points) such as 97% quality etc. which may reduce your file size huge amounts.

Both make it take up less kb.

you can use "Paint.net" a program you can search for and use free from downloads.com to do either.

Another option is if you have multiple pics for instance and they take up too much kb or mb, then you can zip them into a zip file just select the files and right click then click on send to compressed folder. If it doesn't have this option then you need a zip program, also found for free at downloads.com

A little long winded but do this ...

Take screen shot of every image and paste it inside paint and re save as jpg and its defo in the KB region

resize it to be smaller or put heavier jpg compression on it.
Try getting hold of a copy of Photoshop Elements - should be pretty easy to find for free!
