1) Check for a wedding ring
2) Go up to him and smile flirtaceously while starting a conversation. Get him to talk abouit himself a bit, tell him a bit about yourself. Keep smiling, keep eye contact, be flirtaceos and vivaceous.
3) Tell him you think he's a really nice guy and you'd love to go out on a date with him, can you exchange phone numbers so you can get in touch again. Have a pen and paper (but don't make it look TOO prepared).

just walk up to his cart and start putting groceries in there when hes not looking. and when he catches you yell wahoo!! and run out screaming bloody murder. usually they will chase you out and beat you with a salami. works for some .
