i have really soft hair and i never get split ends. But my hair is really poofy. I cant leave it down unless i use a whole bottle of hair spray and gel on it to make it curly.
Dont tell me to use anti frizz stuff on it, because my hair isnt frizzy...

btw, i just had some bulk removed last week and it made my tips wierd. now its poofier

You may need to have it thinned out or texturized. This will take some of the bulk out. Also you can always get a relaxer which will help or a straight iron if you dont want to use chemicals

I know you don't think your hair is frizzy but just try the John Frieda Frizz Ease range, just the shampoo ans conditioner for defining and smoothing curls will help loads! Trust me I had the same problem!!

Have you tried to use moose on wet hair? The moose will usually say on the bottle if your hair should be wet wet of just slightly wet...I hope it works out for you.

wash it leave it alone let it dry naturally dont put it up or in a pony brush it straight perhaps
