Everyone has feelings, so yes a student could yell at a teacher and make them cry. Depending on all of the details, the student could face detention or another form of punishment. They could also receive no action what so ever. It really depends on all of the details.

Yes it is possible. Teacher have feelings just like everyone. Some children today even do that to their parents. This should not happen because no child should be yelling at an adult, but it happens all the time (just ask any teacher that teaches high school actually with today's kids ask any teacher no matter what grade they teach). Children are so disrespectful today. They need to be disciplined for this ---normally I would say they should be suspended but today so many parents don't care if their child is suspended or not so really what kind of punishment is suspension. If their is an alternative school like our parish has where children are sent for disciplinary reasons for a certain number of days with is the action I would suggest. I would also recommend a student, parent, teacher, and principal conference.

I wish teachers could do some role reversal on students. I dont understand the school system. Kids can be disrespectful, laugh it off, and get upset if someone mentions suspension, but if teachers correct the students in a bolder than normal fashion, they are being sued for child abuse. Go figure. Somethin is way wrong with that picture. Teachers and students should respect each other, and do what they came to do. Teach and learn!!

Well, I imagine it is possible to yell at anyone bad enough to make them cry!
Depending on the words used, the child should at least be sent to the principle, to let them know this is not acceptable. If foul language is used, maybe ISS....

Ohh, yes it is. I'm only 13, and I made my teacher cry because I said that her husband looked like a penguin with a pie shaped head! It was really funny, she told me off and gave me a detention, then she had a discussion about his looks with me and started crying. She actually said: Oh, I know he is very ugly, but he loves me so much I just can't live somewhere else without knowing that he is alright. And, he has made me love him, etc etc, blaa bllaa, like I wanted to know that! LOL

yes it is possible because of the anger they have towards them and sometimes they don't have the guts to say what they feel to the teacher so they cry

They need to be suspended from school, they need to apologize to the teacher, then they need to be put in a different class. After school, they need to go to anger management classes.
