The world is real. Yes there are things in life that you don't need; only you can decide which. Sorry, but there are some things you can only (and must) learn for yourself. Remember that true strength comes from within, not misplaced belief in the Great Beard In The Sky.

Seeing does imply act beyond illusions and wishes, at least sometimes. Not everything I see exist, I mean cats don´t fly around kitchens, do they? many see that when mentioned, because it is funny and true. It is easy to understand most of what one sees does exist because some are there for learning and acomplishment, some are for pure fun and humor. Are you to see humor is serious? I do not see that, but see your point happening.
Now the things I do not need are: more than one woman, more ice cream than we can eat or enjoy, hard work dissapearing.

Not everything that you see exists. Think of the space the space shuttle is flying in right now. It is there, but it is nothing. Empty void. On your second question: you learn to need (and want) more and more when your life progresses. Returning to the basic needs to get connected to yourself again is what Asian religions teach.

Yes they exist or else you wouldn't see them and be able to cross reference what you see with others. We have no reason or facts to prove otherwise. The only thing in life we do not need i believe is sin and Satan - when God comes they will be gone.

21 And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.
