I cannot understand why people would want to pray to and for evil. At least an atheist doesn't believe in anything - a satanist is looking for the worst in life and in death.

I think that being satanist is the worst thing you can be. Me being a christian, and I wonder why some people choose to live a life of fill with hate, pain, and pretty much evil.Then after you die your reward is to burn in a lake of fire.Not the life I would like to live.

There are so few of them it hardly matters. The only ones I've ever encountered were on the Internet, and I think half of those are just 15 year olds listening to too much Marilyn Manson.
Personally as long as someone is polite to me and contributes to society and does no harm, they can worship Satan, Pee Wee Herman or the Flying Spaghetti Monster for all I care.

Contrary to popular belief, they are a very wonderful people, who concentrate on the marvels of this world rather than the next (espoused in so many religions).

Not much, they are really confused people.
There is no such thing as hell or satan, it was invented as a way to rule the masses educated and uneducated alike by FEAR. When it comes to the people, WELL, they are just people.

I have a hard time with it - if you believe in a spiritual existence - why would you pick evil - surely not the right path
