Yes Goliath was and JAT read that scripture again. In 2 Samuel 21:19 it states - And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Beth-lehemite, slew the BROTHER of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam. hardtimes88 was wondering why David is now dead, that took place thousands of years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure David slew him??

(2 Sam. 21:19)- "And there was war with the Philistines again at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, the shaft of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam."

Of course, that may have been yet another "copying error." Yeah, sure, that's the ticket.

Some people would say that he was a freedom-fighter!

King David was a murderer. If king David was so smart how come he's dead?
