Prior to they're getting to talk is it possible that "Watchers" didn't wait for Yeshua to heal her completely, so the over all picture was distorted.

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, unless you mean when Herodias' daughter asked for John the Baptist's head. In that case, she asked for his head to be cut off and given to her on a silver platter to give to her mother, who hated John for calling her an adulteress. So in that case I don't think she just wanted his attention- she wanted him dead. But the Gospel of John wasn't written by John the Baptist, but by John the Apostle, and I don't recall anything like that incident applying to him.

That is almost funny.

She was and is the proverbial scorned woman.

She told her daughter to ask for John the Baptist head on a platter. Not exactly something you would say if you merely wanted to talk to the man.

She was the sister in law of the King, she was having a sexual affair with the king, John taught the king that this kind of relationship was wrong in Gods eyes, and the king ended the affair.

The lady in question was very upset with this turn of events and blamed John.

Well, no, actually.

If we go by the account, Herodias, Herod's wife, had a grudge against John Baptist due to the fact that John spoke against Herod's marriage. Herod Antipas (the Herod referred to in the Bible in this story) was married to Herodias, who had previously been married to his brother. John criticized Herod for being married to his brother's ex-wife.

Therefore, Herodias wanted John dead, because John was stirring up sentiment against Herod and his wife in the community. Salome was told to ask for the head of John the Baptist as her gift for dancing before Herod.

You also have to remember that these were far more violent times. Beheadings for nearly no reason were very common. The Romans suppressed one rebellion by crucifying dozens of rebels along the roads, so for a time as you rode in and out of Jerusalem the sides of the streets were lined with dead bodies on crucifixes.

It would be nice if there were some secret message or brighter side to the story, but it is a sordid little tale of revenge, sadly.

Um... no. She wanted John's literal head served to her on a platter. But she didn't want John's (the apostle and author of the Book of John) head, she wanted the head of John the Baptist.
