I have been preg. 4 times and i am rh negative. I do not think that has anything to do with you get preg. Just amke sure when you do get preg, if your husband is positive you get the shots you need or it could effect the next child you have.

well all I know is that I'm rh- and I have 3 boys aged 5, 2, and 9 months...so I would say no. If you do get prego just make sure you get your shots..1 at 28 weeks no matter what and then possible 1 (depending on your baby's factor) within 24 hrs of birth. Your body will not fight a pregnacy due to rh factor unless you've had a baby that was positive and didn't get your rhogam shot. If that happens you build antibodies against it. my hubby is positive and I had no problems getting prego.

no, that doesn't have anything to do with it.
your Rh factor is only an issue if you are negative and the father is positive. then, if your blood and baby's blood mix, your body will attack the baby...which, if you ever saw pictures of this it is gruesome.
that's why it is general practice for most moms-to-be get a Rhogam shot around 28 wks, then after delivery and any pregnancies thereafter.

talk to your dr about this if it's a concern for you.
they will be able to inform you better than any of us.

take care.

it won't make it harder to concieve - it just means you need to make sure if you are negative and the baby's father is positive that you see your doctor and make them aware of it as soon as you can - your body will attack the baby and try to fight it off like an infection. Most times, this is only an issue after the first baby because your body doesn't recongnize it the first time - the blood hasn't mixed yet. Good luck!
