what is the best digital camera out there that also takes video??

Defenatly Sony. I have Fuji-Film which is good but Sony is the best corporation as camera's and more.

There's no "best digital camera." And most record video anyway. It's all preference. Look for something you like.

And, although I own a Sony camera, and have a second old one that still works a little, it is definitely not the best brand. But the higher end ones with Carl Zeiss lenses do look very nice.
