Ever since Kinsey, research has consistently demonstrated that the vast majority of human beings exist along a spectrum of sexual orientation, neither being completely heterosexual nor completely homosexual. We're all, or mostly all, somewhere in the middle. It sounds as though this person is awakening to this reality. If he is in a committed relationship, then he will have to decide whether he wishes to continue to honor his commitment or break his commitment to explore his desires. There is never a legitimate excuse to cheat. On the other hand, if he is not committed or if he is in a committed yet open relationship, then this is a cause to celebrate. Discovering new aspects and knowledge about oneself is a blessing. Opening oneself to pleasure is a blessing. The primary caveat, of course, is that he must play safe for the sake of himself and his partner(s). Safe sex saves lives.
If this guy is someone close to you and you are greatly concerned or troubled about his bisexuality or at least by his being "bi-curious" seek counseling. A professional counselor can provide you with much better advice than you can get online.

A man trying to come to grips with the notion that he is bisexual indicates that he has not embraced this realization. He is in the process of accepting himself.

simple, he knows he likes girls and society is alright with that. But it also means he likes guys and THAT society is not okay with. He's probably torn between what he knows he feels and what society thinks is "alright".
He's trying to brace himself before facing society's doubts and fears about us bisexual people.

It means that he likes both men and women and is not sure exactly where that puts him. If this is a friend of yours, try to be supportive and look at sites like PFLAG for information that might help your friends. (PFLAG is parents and friends of lesbians and gays). It doesn't mean your friend has changed, it just means they are trying to figure out for themselves what it is they feel.

It means that he's stuck in a position where he either has to admit to being something that society doesn't like, is disgusted by, or just outright hates... or he has to hide it, learning to lie to himself.
It's not a good place to be.

If you're both guys, he's hinting/flirting.
If you're a gal and he's your boyfriend, he's either looking to get rid of you or wants you to OK his behavior.
If you're a gal and he's not your boyfriend, he may be straight and hoping you'll try to "save" him by putting out.

It depends on yourself. This is a question you should ask yourself. It seems to me you are confused about some things and you need clearity. If you want to be Bi....then that is up to you, if you want to be straight, then it is up to you.
