Has anyone ever fallen in love on the net, then moved far away to be with that person? If so, did it last?

from my personal experience.....YES. I met my boyfriend in the summer of 2005 playing spades in a league in yahoo. We started talking on the phone everyday, and in ims and email. We met for the first time in November, and several times after that. Three months ago he moved here to live with me. He lived in NY, and I live in Wisconsin. So far its been wonderful......as for as if it will last, only time will tell. It just depends on the people involved, and the willingness to take risks in a mature fashion......sounds like you met someone through the net........good luck with your relationship :)

Well for me it is still a new realationship but it is going well.....it has been 10 months for us ans we ahve had our fair shair of trials but only one argument......that was over how we raise our kids, we had very different upbrinings that we have learned to compromise on.......this was a VERY BIG step for me since was born and raised in one town for my entire life and moved for the first time.....I guess my advice to you is if you feel like this is a secure move in your gut, and trust me your gut will tell you.....and you have thought about this move and I meen really thought about it.......(I meditated over it for 4 months before I actually moved and I had met him and spent time with him also)......and it feels like a good desision go ahead and give it a try but remember you are ultimatly the one who has to make the choice and if it does not work dont be hard on your self ...chalk it up as you live and you learn and may you have better luck next time. Be sure aabout your dission dont jump into it. Good luck...and compromise will be your favorite word.

I fell in love with 3 boys and moved in with them.. Two lasted about 3 months and the last one lasted 5 months..

Sweetheart, Look around it goes on all over..The answeer is:: My Wife and I fell in love ( I MEAN LOVE NOT LUST ) back in high school. I went into the Navy and went to Fla. She followed from NY.. Note, we did get married.. Did it Last, well I just asked her if she wanted to answeer this.. Old girls been hanging in there 45 years, Guess it does althow every now and then she tells me shes going to trade me in..YES DEAR IT WORKS BUT ONLY FOR THE RIGHT REASONS..(TRUE LOVE!) if you turely love this person then follow your heart..Thats what I told her 45 years ago.. I haven't but my youger brother did when he was 19 or 20. Moved from Texas to Kentucky chasing after a girl. It didn't last, and he was stuck there.

yes, I met my wife 3 years ago on a "dodgy" website, we fell in love and now she lives with me in the uk. She is from Romania.
