How about a weekend getaway and some phenomenal sex. You know, new sexy nightie and something a little "strange". That would work for me!

It's not really and anniversary if your not married... but since you are so sentimental... get him something that won't wear off... you perhaps.. or something that strays away from the norm... like DVDs or stuff he will never use again after one time... Try getting what he wants a DVD player for the car... a IPOD... something that can be and will be used more than one... you perhaps... you decide but let me know as I am curious what happens after two years so I know what to expect...

A coupon for a wedding ring seems appropriate for a 2 year anniversary.

If he likes to fish, buy him a new fishing rod and attach a note that says something like, "You caught me!". Then pack a picnic and go fishing with him. Don't forget to add some new lures and an al"luring" outfit for you. Sitting along the shore with the guy you adore...who could ask for anything more!

we had our two year anniversary May 1st, I got him a gift bag full of different types of things I knew he loved. I got him a bunch of lighthouses that he collected, cool margarita napkins for his margarita glasses, a neat picture frame (pic of me in it!) - great card - all that sort of stuff! Ya'll have been together really long enough to get a good sense of what he enjoys - throw in movie tix or a gift card to Lowe's, maybe a certificate for a massage from you with a bottle of massage oil! Have fun with it - he'll love everything you do for him!!

The simple fact is...BOYS LIKE TOYS! Most men don't want all that sappy romantic stuff. Get him something special (memorable) but make it something he can play with. Past gifts to my hunny include: a new TV, a watch, a GPS unit, PS2 games, collectors items for his hobby, a stainless steel grill, (toys for us ;) ), etc...

Cook him his favorite meal, surprise him with it after work when you take him on a picnic! Whatever you decide, just spend time with him. YOU are the reason he's dating you, not the stuff!

I agree with the first response... a little getaway, a sexy outfit... what does he enjoy doing, and where? That would be exciting for both of you... have fun!
