Almost any and all pharmacies will sell you what you need...and for a lot less than $50CDN. If you cannot get what you want from one or they want to charge you an unreasonable price, just try the next one. No prescription needed - unless you want to overpay!

You don't need a prescription for much in Thailand. Just go to a pharmacy and ask. I am pretty sure they have lots of over the counter stuff. I went to the hospital there once and it only cost me $50 Cdn including my prescription so if you can't find anything try that.

There are a lot of counterfeit prescription drugs sold in Thailand. You would be best served by going to a larger pharmacy or the one associated with the College of Pharmacy in Bangkok.

Though many medicines are available over the counter, some are also controlled. The pharmacies may need to see your prescription for this.

i will suggest u to bring ur own medications, tat include sleeping pills. i do each time i travel. unless u can read and understand chinese. there r fake medicines out there. u never know. seeing a doc when u r sick is damn troublesome in china. u need a translator, a local ppl to company u. unless u r in major city like beijing where u can find (expats) docs tat speaks ur language. so, better bring all those things tat u need when u r away from home.
