It's BAD. It causes cancer
"A long-term, large-scale study of the effect of aspartame on 1,800 rats showed that aspartame caused cancer of the kidney, and of the peripheral nerves in the head. Earlier data from the same study linked aspartame to a greater risk of leukemias and lymphomas, even at doses very close to what is considered the acceptable daily intake for humans."

Causes severe headaches, palpitations, depression etc.
Do a search on aspartame side effects, you will find plenty of sites.
I have asthma and am sure that it affects that also, I never by anything with it in, it a drink says "sugar free", ignore it. It is almost impossible to find cordial without it, I use sunquick, yuou can buy it in some Asda's or Rocks organic juice from some Tesco's. They are more expensive, but worth it.

Gives me a STINKING headache, almost as bad as any migrane I have had in the past
They (politicians and manufacturers) should be SHOT for allowing this to be kept out on the shelves

Well, I don't really know, but I do know alot of people (self included) are allergic to it and have terrible migraine headaches when they eat it.
