If you are in the UK you can complain to either the Insurance Ombudsman or GISC (formerly Association of British Insurers). Before doing either you MUST put your complaint in writing to Alliance Cornhill and follow their complaints process. Part of this process must explain how you complain to Ombudsman or GISC - General Insurance Standards Council.

The GISC is now obsolete and is replaced by the Financial Standards Authority. If you have a complaint about the way the Allianz has dealt with your claim or the cover that was sold to you write to the company setting out your reasons. Give them seven days to respond and then phone FSA and report your complaint

God only knows what driver was doing in Milan when he should have been in Munich. Sounds like he is as bad as me for directions.
I can get lost in Sauchiehall street and I was born and bred in Glasgow.

I don't fully understand your question. Feel free to contact me to discuss this further and I shall try to help.

It does sound like your driver MAY be at fault therefore you wouldn't have a claim.

Once again, please either re-explain your question or contact me.

:-)
