almost every vehical has another vehical that it shares parts with.....I am tring to find out if the windstar has on or not

I owned a Windstar and there are several cars that are compatible mechanically. The engine is shared with the Mustang, Taurus T-bird and Lincoln Continental. The Transmission is the same on the Lincoln and I would guess on the Taurus (don't hold me to it). The body is unique to the Windstar though it's based on the Taurus platform.

Front Suspension on Windstar was borrowed from Taurus as well as motor design and layout.....thats about the only car that Ford makes with any simular pieces to the windstar.

Ford aerostar,nissan quest,honda odssey,toyota sienna are all in the same ballpark though the honda is probably the best of them all.

I don't believe that there is one that they share with. Mercury does not have a van that shares that platform, so I don't think anything else does either.
