my fave artist is marcel duchamp: because i like the ways he expanded on the notion of what art could be. his art also has a sense of humor i like that too.

my fave painter is takashi murakami: because i like his playful attitude and his works are trully very pretty.

I like Van Gogh a lot because he brings a lot to the table. He can paint things that look very surreal and yet he also has a lot of talent when it comes to realistic pieces. My favorite by him is the famous Starry Night but I have never seen one of his pieces that didn't stir something in me, or that didn't make me think.

fav artist would have to be: Manet
i love his painting 'Bar at the Folies-Bergere'. Manet's gives a painting life with his technique of flickering light and color throughout his paintings of various cafes and landscapes. Manet on his own was a whole new era of painting bringing a new hard edge to impressionism.
