I need to know how many inches i have left to grow, or if my growth plates have all closed.

i called the orthapedics but they said they dont do such thing.

No, there is no way (no test, no doctor) who can tell you how many inches you are going to grow or if you are going to get any taller at all. You don't mention your age? Some people still grow into their very early 20's, some people stop grown in their teens or earlier. Again, no way to know. I hit 5'7" when I was in the 5th grade (11 yo). My father was 6'5" so my parents thought I was going to get even taller. But I never grew another inch.

Is there a reason that it is important to know this? If you are just curious, talk to your family doctor about it. If there is a medical reason you want the information, perhaps an x-ray or something more advanced but along the same lines would give you the answers for which you are looking. If you are experiencing pain in your joints, I would talk to your folks, or if you are over 18 and on your own, call a rheumatologist, you might have RA,or something similar.

Genetics plays a big part in height. How tall are your parents? What about siblings? That should give you some idea about how tall you will be.
