Hi there,
Here are a couple that are free and very good:
http://www.medical-library.org/mddx_index.htm
http://www.myelectronicmd.com/
This one is great, however you have to pay at the end ... does a full history, etc. of your health: http://www.yourdiagnosis.com/start.htm

Try typing in a question or a phrase on yahoo or msn. You can usually find answers to questions that have been asked in the past.

I agree with ttime - mayo clinic was very useful for my nursing course.
Alternatively you could type in "symptoms of _______" in yahoo or google & you will get loads of sites.
Good luck :-)
