Because a lot of men don't realize what it takes to maintain a good relationship and only want sex. If they don't want anything past that, then there's really no point.

Because you probably flaunt yourself. To find a good man you must dress regularly. Like t shirts that are not tight and pants that don't deifne how you butt looks. If a guy approaches, you will know that he definitely is not after you because you look like a whore, but a respectable young lady. I mean really, what guy that just wants to just have sex will approach a respectable young lady? Think about it. GO AFTER THE UGLY DUDES OR THE ONES NO GIRL SEEMS TO WANT. Those are the good ones.

I'm a man, and I don't just want sex. I like the companionship and the love that goes along with a relationship. I would love to find the right woman, but have had no luck yet.

Most guys out are programmed by false perceptions. Blame the media, their peer groups, their hormones, their family, their expectations. It's all based on the false perception that women want sex just as much as they do.
Truth is, they don't understand values. Trust, Honesty, Respect, Caring, Sharing, Appreciation, A Sense of Humor, and Unconditional love are what really matters here.
Those of us who do understand values and what it all means, usually don't get noticed, because the minority ruins it for the rest of us.

When you first meet a guy, tell him what you are, who you are. For example, " I'm NOT looking for casual relationships, I want something that could be more. If all you want is casual dating with sex, then we can work something out, but if you want the same things I want, we can do that too." BUT, if he says, all he wants is casual sex dating, then never talk to him again. What do you have to loose?

It isn't. However, if you generally meet guys in "pick up" places, then that's what you'll get.
You need to try to meet men who are interested in the things and lifestyle that you are. So, if you like going to church, join the singles club there. If you are into photography, join a photography club. If you like motorcycles, join a riding club.
Good luck to you!
