Absolutlely! I was stationed in the Navy in Norfolk VA and the night that an aircreaft carrier left port. ( approximately 5000 guys gone for 6 months) the base club would be packed with women. I knew guys who would actually move in with women for the time thier husbands were at sea. On the flip side,.when these guys would go to foriegn ports there was no holds barred with the womanizing and no way to get caught.

me and my husband have been seperated i don't know how many times now. and i can tell you that we haven't "played around" on each other. that is not to say that there aren't a lot of spouses out their that don't. i relieve stress by hooking up with friends that i know aren't "playing around" on their husbands. and i try to stay away from those who are. i don't put myself in the kind of situations that would make someone question my faithfulness to my husband. i would not want to hurt my husband, my kids or my family by doing something so terrible. and it saddens me that so many are so quick to jump into something like that when their loved ones leave. but like i said, i align my self with strong women who believe the same way i do and avoid those who's situations i would prefer not to be in!

I was a Marine's wife for 27 years. Neither of us played around when we were separated. I knew of many who did though and it almost always ended in disaster. There are plenty of other, and better, ways to relieve stress.

I think that's probably one of the worst things possible to do. If your husband (or your wife) is overseas fighting for our freedoms, for our lives, putting his life on the line every day for his country, to turn around and betray him is just despicable.

I don't think it happens any more than any other line of work. However, I dont think it is a smart idea to do that to either sex that has been trained to kill and has ready access to weapons.....not smart at all.!
