I somehow, don't know how, moved the task bar, so that it is now taking up half the screen! It is sooo annoying. I tried just dragging it back, but it doesn't work. Please help! Thanks!

Right click on it and make sure taskbar isn't locked

Right click the task bar.
Un check "Lock the task bar"
Left click and move it around the screen.

Move your cursor to the top of your task bar. Your cursor will turn into a vertical double-sided arrow. When this happens, click down with your mouse and hold it as you move your mouse down. This should shrink your taskbar.

Don't drag the bar, drag the EDGE of the bar so that the bar itself takes up less room.
