If I honestly believed that this man would make a great life partner, I'd thank him for this loving proposal; and tell him I'd prefer a discussion about planning a *real* future together that included a ring and a wedding date. Just be very, very sure. Because if you move in with him, and things don't work out... the pain is just as great as if you were married. You *will* know when he is the one.

It depends how long you've been together, do you really love him? are you in love with him? are you together all the time anyway? lots of factors, i moved in with my boyfriend after about a year, but i knew he was the one i would marry from the second i laid eyes on him! its really nice living with your bf, you get to really know the other person on such a deep level, and thats the ultimate test, if you can live together and make it work then you can get married and make that work even better! Good luck!

If you're asking it means that you are not sure about this. Take time and don't rush into it. You can still see each other and have fun (or quarrel) to your heart's delight whilst living separately.

If it is to happen the time will come, when you will know exactly if you should move in with him or not.

I would say no. Just because you have a boyfriend that doesn't mean that he's "the one." You may find someone else, and being a live-in really shortens that search.
