The main problem is the itching and when you scratch you break the blisters and actually spread the 'poison'. I've always used calamine (any local drugstore/pharmacy even walmart will have), but if not you can try the Aveeno Oatmeal bath lotion or make your own paste from water and baking soda. Remember to wash any clothes you had on when you came in contact as it can remain and restart the rash, even silly things like a watch band or belt.

Anything you can do to dry it up will help it heal faster. Make a paste of corn starch and water and apply it to the area for a while, take a bath in cornstarch water, apply an OTC cortisone (1 %) cream 3-4 times per day. Also Benadryl helps with the itching, not the cream but the capsules/tablets.

Well for starters wash the clothes you had on with warm water and soap. bleach if they are white. Jump in the shower and use lots of hot water and Soap. once the skin has been washed you CAN NOT SPREAD POISION the liquid that comes out of the blisters is a sterile fluid. once you have used soap and water on the skin, other's can not get the rash from you. you break out according to how much oil is on your skin. heaver oil faster breakout. you can get small breakout patches up to a week after contact. depends on how much oil was on that spot. take benadryl. use cool compresses, any anti itch med. or go to your doctor to get a shot. the shot's don't seem to help me much and I pretty much keep some type of poision rash all summer long. I'm broke out now. Best of luck hope you heal quick. Scratch if you need to just watch out for secondary infections from scratching sometimes you can introduce bacteria into the places if you scratch too much.

Go to a doctor or emergency room for a shot of a steroid. Locally cool wet compresses with baking soda might relieve some itching.

You are possibly allergic to it. You should go to the Doc and get some help. While you wait, try calamine lotion and oatmeal baths. Keep it clean and dry and stay away from others. Use your own towels etc, try not to touch doors, phones, etc--you can spread it to others.

Go to the Dr. and get a prednisone(sp) steroid shot. The sooner the better. I had one the other day and it knocked it out within hours.
