I'm a Pagan/Druid, and I'm wanting to know how Christians, Catholics, all of that see us. Is there anything other than "witch" that you see?

We're no more a cult than any other religion is.

Fine people and thanks for the Holidays. Pagans and Druids catch a lot of flak from some Christians...but show me a perfect Christian...and I'll rethink my opinion of "those who ignore God's will."
I view Pagans and Druids as folks who are seeking answers and truth just like Christians and many other religions, cults, self-help groups, Tarot readers, etc. Personally I've had great results with Christianity, it makes complete sense to me. I've studied and searched and prayed and threatened...etc. to try and find fault with Christianity...I can't. (This is a completely different thing than trying to find fault with Christians...the people, I mean. We're a bunch of factory rejects just like the rest of humanity.)
I haven't a problem in the world with folks looking elsewhere...unless they start blowing-up people and things. Logically that can't be the Truth because it is hate and survival...that would make us no different from the animals.
I suppose you expected me to say "you're goin' to Hell...yada, yada, yada...." Well, that's between you and God. I got enough trouble trying to keep ME out of the place!
Best Wishes...a fellow human who happens to be a Catholic.
(P.S. I've got a friend who's got a Coven of Witches living in the apartment above. Great parties...oops...I'll be really lucky if I only manage to scrape by and make it to Purgatory!)

See I've been there before. I have been a christian all my life but went through a phase dabbling into witchcraft. My favorite time of year is Halloween but I don't mess around with that stuff anymore.
I don't see it as people who are just witches but I think if anything, they would be able to identify with the supernatural and even believe in a God and a devil. I think that they are into something that can get pretty dangerous simply because I had a few experiences and found that witchcraft is just as real as the power of God.
I have found that Gods power works in my favor better which has alot to do with my faith. And I always knew never to try mixing the two together.
I see it as hot or cold, thick or thin, blood or water. There's no in between.

I was a Pagan before I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ.
I see you as a wonderful creation of God!
You are someone who God loves and cares about.
You are a Druid and that is your chosen path, it must be a difficult one as from what I've read it takes many years of training to become a druid.

We see you as a Pagan or Druid. Are we supposed to see you as anything other than what you are?
Now, if we're talking about where you are going, well, that's a whole different bag of feed.

I'm christian but not catholic and It is true that I feel sorry about that you are druid but it is your decision that do you want to take Jesus as your Savior or do you want to believe something else and if i would meet you personally my first word would not tell about what will happen to you. It is true that in some part of conversation i would try to Tell you some thinks about Jesus. and what I see on you I honestly see human who have chosen his way and I hope that you have chosen an other way but it is your decision and all what I can do is pray all best to you and bless you. Amen

Actually, I'm quite compassionate towards them. My boyfriend was a Druid before he became a Christian. From what he told me, he used to be a very lonely, friendless, kinda scary guy. I don't see witches. I see rather lost human beings.

Most of them fear or pity you. They see you as being in league with the devil, or at best, seperated from God, and lost. I see you as spiritual seekers. Personally, having been down the path you follow, I think you are wasting your time. It will make you feel good for a while, but I have yet to meet a dedicated pagan or wiccan who had their act together. Seeking power of any kind is a reflection of your inner fear, and feelings of powerlessness. I have spent 35 years exploring almost every religion, philosophy and spiritual practice commonly known to man, and a few that are not so well known. In the end, none of it worked for me. All of them made huge promises, and none of them delivered what I was seeking. Sounds corny, but I wound up just falling in love with God. I trust Him. I have never regreted it. I gave up nothing of any real importance, and gained eternity and peace. Good fortune be with you.

Remember, before there were Christians, they were Pagans. Jesus came to save the gentiles who were pagans. The Christian church is filled with ancient pagan cultures...so you see, Paganism is actually part of the whole christian thing..you may well be a christian without knowing it.

As a Catholic, I have no problem with Pagans or Druids. Live and let live. I have a secret believe myself that God is Mother Nature in another guise..................
