Did fast food restaurants (McDonalds,Pizza Hut,KFC ect) have better tasting food in the past..Does it suck now

Here's a bit of fast food trivia for everyone out there. I have been eating fast food since I was a child in the late 1980's....(I was 4 years old in 1987). I was wondering if it's just me but did fast food taste a whole lot better in the late 80 and the first half of the 90's. And is the food just terrible now??? Here my opinion, I believe that fast food tasted like something you would actually want to eat once upon a time. Let me know what you guys think.....

Not sure but I think that restaurants have started taking shortcuts to drive the costs down. Also, now days the majority of fast food workers are high schoolers and college kids who don't care about how they throw the burger together.

I think that the quality of the food has gotten better. It's the quality of the workers that put the food together that has gotten worse. These days you have a bunch of teenagers who care more about playing on their cell phone than if they are making your food right. I worked in the fast food business since i was 16. Worked my way up to an assistant manager.I quit about a year ago Some restaurants have crappy food. But from a professional opinion most of it's the employees. I do have to admit some of the items that these fast food businesses come out with are kinda yucky. But for the most part you are usually in a hurry when you order food from a fast food place and it's not good ole mom's cooking so it's gonna taste different anyway.
