Does the mouse cursor erratically?
Generally, there are three possibilities:
1) Remote Assistance program (VNC/Terminal Service/etc.)
2) Optical Mouse is set on an angle and light is reflect <90 degrees which would move your cursor without mouse movement
3) Trojan hijack as a possibility
If it is an optical mouse, place it on a flat desktop (not on any angle). Check to see if you have remote/terminal service programs which could have administrators have control of your computer . Do a virus and spyware scan

That arrow is called a "cursor."
If you have a mouse that doesn't have a track ball, then your cursor may move on its own sometimes--but only in a strait line!
If your cursor isn't moving in a strait line when it does that, then that's a BAD thing. someone's got control of your cursor.

Definitely ghosts, but if you dont believe in them then its more llikely remote access, hopefully from a shared server. But unfortunately it could also be someone nasty I would get your computer checked out by a professional very quickly!

You need to run some virus / spyware software to see if your system has been hijacked. You can go to Norton, McFee, Spyware Doctor , MS and check your system for free. I personally run 4 different virsu / spyware process to check my system on a daily basis as well as real time.

Your computer shows signs of rebellion. It wants autonomy. I think the human-against-machine war is starting!

Someone else has taken control of your computer - usually happens with shared servers.
