I have a very hard time playing a par 72 course, but once i get out on the executive courses, i can dominate. Idk wat my problem is, but i havent noticed anything being "off" other than my final score.
How can i reduce my score??

You need to learn to play smarter. When you play with me, I usually lay up with a 7 wood or something. You don't always need to be on the green in two. You are a VERY GOOD putter. Take advantage of your skill by laying up.

Short game short game short game

Putting - having a solid putting stroke, spending enough time on putting green to get used to the green's speed when playing a course for the first time.

Chipping - course's cut grass around greens different and some of have different type grasses. Get to know what type chip shots you may have and work on them. The same goes with the type of sand.

Off the Tee - Make sure you keep the ball in play some holes you may need to hit a 3 wood.

When it comes between Distance or accuracy , I'd rather have accuracy. On shot and your not confedent with the club, go to the next club you feel condedent with. Work on making 3 and 6 putts. On the practice green take six balls 3 ft around hole and tell yourself you can't leave until you nail every put.

get the ball in the hole haha. but really you just have to find a comfort zone. for one round try to play alittle conservative. like laying up on a par 5 and not going after the pin on hole that the pin maybe in a corner close to a hazard.
