Do hospitals or retail pharmacies pay their technicians more?

Hospital pharmacies pay their technicians more money. I work for a hospital pharmacy and I make $16.75 an hour, seriously. They pay really well. I was working at a retail pharmacy 3 years ago and they only paid me $9.00 an hour! I more then doubled that going to a hospital.

Retail does however pay pharmacists more money than a hospital does.
