i was ate the mall with some of my girlfreind and i went to buy us all a dr. pepper. when turned around a sawl my boy friend making out with some slut. well, i punched her to the ground and smashed a stierfoam cup of soda in his face.

Did the girl know that he was taken?

If she didn't, then you went overboard hitting her. Your bf should have told her that he was with you.

If she did know, then I still think you went a little too far.

Personally, I would have hit him. In a way, she had nothing to do with it because he should have known better. If it wasn't her, it would have been another girl.

Maybe you should be thanking her instead of hitting her. If this wouldn't have happened, you might not have know what a cheating dog your bf is.

Now that you know, you can drop him and find someone who actually deserves your company.

Assuming the other girl wasn't one of your friends, she may not even know you exist, so from her point of view, unless your bf says he's in a relationship, there would be nothing wrong with courting him.

if you are questioning your actions than you may have gone a bit overboard. I would have tapped him on the shoulder, gave him a whithering look and walk away...class and dignity and you are not sinking to his pitiful level. Count your lucky stars that you found out now rather than later

well i would think of doing the same thing but i think you should of came out to him first and yelled at him before hitting her because its not like she knew he has a gf unless he told her than it would be a good reason to punch her but if that wasnt the case why would you hit her if it was his fault for getting with her. i mean lets say u were dating him and he had a gf on the side and never told you about it how would u like getting knocked out i mean yeah its the first reaction but i think you should of came out to him first.

I understand the motivation, but you could get arrested for that. Why? Because it is assault and battery. There are better ways to handle things other than physical violence. I am sorry you got cheated on, though.
