Finding a suitable mate for life is one of life's greatest challenges. Not only is it a random game of chance , but it is filled with many hours of frustration and agony as well as joy and happiness.
Ironic though, when you consider that puberty starts around age 12 or 13 and the hormones are in rage mode until we really understand what that is and then we try to figure out how people are as individuals, meanwhile, trying to savour the virginity factor.
It isn't easy. Have Patience. Have Faith. There will be countless feelings of rejection and many hours of wondering "why".
The good news is when we do meet up with our soulmate and understand what that is all about, it is worth every minute for the rest of our lives to finally have some release with a meaningful person beside us.

well if the person is staying a virgin for religious reasons...if you think about it, people in the bible days got married at like 15...very young....right when the hormones really start kicking in....these days people get married later, like 25....that's a whole ten years longer trying to stay a virgin...i don't see how people should still be expected to wait like it says you should do....personally, i'm just waiting till i find someone special

bc our carnal emotions take over n hormones and i dont think that u should get married to someone without having sex with them or whomever u want to. sex is a big part of marriage as well as love but what i u wait to have sex til marriage then find out that u dont enjoy it with ur mate or u want to experience it more else where? im not sayin u should sleep around alot its a gift we have so it should be shared with someone u love yet why the marriage thing first?

Honestly I dont see the point in staying a virgin until that age and would never in a million years consider marrying someone who I have not slept with yet. Sex is very important and you should be with someone you have a good time with. Sex is not bad, its not dirty and its not just for marriage and committed relationships. Its for adult human beings.

I don't know about most people, but for me it is about more than just sex. I am still waiting because of my faith in GOD, and my fear of AIDS (and the other non curable diseases), LOL!

I think it's because sex is an intense way of becoming close with eachother emotionally, also when people are "in love" they think sex is just what you do. others are just horny little suckers......
