most women twist their hair when they are either bored. But if a man is talking to them or if she likes a man she will use her hair to flirt, i hope this helps xx

cause it looks tight, hairstyles are like opinions and buttholes, everyone has the right to one.

For me its a habit. It's in the way when it's down, which it always is, and it's a tactile thing.
I think overall that psychologically they say that it is something to do with seeking comfort? Can't recall exactly
