Shorter hair always looks more professional than longer hair. Doesn't have to be super short. Be careful of hair products. The spikey look or "bed-head" is a no-no for business. Pick a good place to get your haircut. Ask someone-who's hair you think looks good-where they get their haircut and who does it. Also check out magazines like GQ and when you find a look you like, take it with you for your appointment.

In a business suit you need the short hair, clean cut look. And it has to be a very well fitting suit, with nice polished shoes. Clean shaven or with a nice, well groomed mustache or goatee.
Long hair can be sexy too, but the whole look is different .. not a suit .. jeans or something.

Nicely styled short haircut AND a wonderful spicey aftershave/cologne, facial hair should be impecably trimmed. Clean manicured nails. Straight posture and a smile that says all of your attention is available.
