Can miles truly separate you from friends.... If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?

Missing someone gets easier every day because even though it's one day further from the last time you saw each other, it's one day closer to the next time you will.

What is the opposite of two? A lonely me, a lonely you.

Love is missing someone whenever you're apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you're close in heart.

If the person you are missing is a significant other...

"I wondered all this time bout how u been
and I hoped by chance id see you once again
I'd love to 2 kiss your lips baby once again
long 2 hold u tight girl one mo'gin"- D'Angelo, One Mo' 'gin, Voodoo

For me, that whole song is the hottest track for missing someone you ain't seen in awhile.

If you are into poetry, there is A Valediction Forbidding Mourning by John Donne:

As virtuous men pass mildly away,
And whisper to their souls to go,
Whilst some of their sad friends do say,
"Now his breath goes," and some say, "No."

So let us melt, and make no noise,
No tear-floods, nor sigh-tempests move;
'Twere profanation of our joys
To tell the laity our love.

Moving of th' earth brings harms and fears;
Men reckon what it did, and meant;
But trepidation of the spheres,
Though greater far, is innocent.

Dull sublunary lovers' love
—Whose soul is sense—cannot admit
Of absence, 'cause it doth remove
The thing which elemented it.

But we by a love so much refined,
That ourselves know not what it is,
Inter-assurèd of the mind,
Care less, eyes, lips and hands to miss.

Our two souls therefore, which are one,
Though I must go, endure not yet
A breach, but an expansion,
Like gold to aery thinness beat.

If they be two, they are two so
As stiff twin compasses are two;
Thy soul, the fix'd foot, makes no show
To move, but doth, if th' other do.

And though it in the centre sit,
Yet, when the other far doth roam,
It leans, and hearkens after it,
And grows erect, as that comes home.

Such wilt thou be to me, who must,
Like th' other foot, obliquely run;
Thy firmness makes my circle just
And makes me end where I begun.

It is about how Donne misses his lover, but forbids her to cry because they will always be together in spirit.

"Is not absence death to those who love"
Alexander Pope

Those both have to do with love. If you're missing someone who you're not in love with, well, I don't know any quotes for you.

One thing I must confess,
You made my life a mess,
Now that I'm flat broke,
You made me into a joke,
Creditors on my a_s,
All they do is harass,
No one to hold at night,
But I have one thing to make it right,
My Smith and Wesson bought at the Mall,
Blasting bullet holes at your image on my wall
