Heat exhaustion is not like a recurring illness. It is a physical reaction to heat and dehydration of the body. Any time you get dehydrated you could suffer from heat exhaustion again. Stay Hydrated and you should be all right. If you have to be in the heat drink more water than you normally do.

Yes you can get it again. You have to make sure that you are drinking enough water. That means even 2 days before your next softball game. If you are dehydrated, you will not be able to tolerate the heat. You need 64 ozs of water a day and more if you are exercising.

my daughter recently had this from being with her inconsiderate father and I had to take her to the ER. I was told you are now more than before you got it, able to get it faster and yes you will get it again...sorry but that is what I am told. So, drink drink drink lots of water and maintain how much sun you are getting. Okay?Or you will get it again and possible worse next time so Take care and be safe.

Yes!
Once you get it... it becomes easier the next time.
It happened to my wife several years ago and now it's really hard for her to go out in the sun for very long without feeling light-headed!

Yes, it's happened to me too. Please watch out for hot days & monitor your exertion. Stay hydrated.
Since the first time, I've recognized my symptons (pupils dilating, everything getting way too bright, shortness of breath, sweating), and I try to stop & sit down to prevent the pass-out.
Sorry to hear about it. Best of luck!
