Christians,Why are we judging the world when were not supposed to?

Question

Im a non-denominational christian,And from my understanding on what the word of god says we supposed to rebuke the people inside the church.As far as the world,the only thing were supposed to do is warn them of gods coming and minister to them.Let god judge the world.In christianity,people have a right to accept god or not,thats their choice.The lord never forced himself on anyone.So please, as believers stop judging the world,thats gods job.

As an athiest and agnostic, I see too much of a "You're going to hell if you don't believe what I believe" attitude by a lot of Christians. It doesn't bother me at all because obviously I don't believe in it but it shows the kind of extremist nature of some of the hard-liners.

I actually really do like many of the Christians, like the poster of this question, who seems to be a more moderate, level-headed Christian who can maybe accept certain things in the world, even if it wasn't in the bible.

All I can say is to never stop looking for the truth. As an agnostic, that's what I live by.

Tha's right man; it isn't our place to judge, we have to be careful that we don't. It's easy for people to mistake judging for ministering or a simple statement that some lifestyle or another is sinful, but Christians still do it a lot, and that's responsibe in large part for givng our faith a bad name.

christians have long been the most judgemental among the major religions... just can't break that habit of pointing fingers and casting stones, no matter who tells them to knock it offf! Most other peoples pretty much mind their own damned business and there'd have been far fewer wars if the christians would only abide by their own doctrine..."we're better than you and we'll prove it to you!"

most christians judge the world based on what they think are sins and whats not. i'm Christian, so my opinion is to help people know God so that they dont suffer when they die.
but everyone judges everyone for one reason or another, it's natural, God didnt make us perfect

I believe that in the New Testament Jesus said very clearly" Judge not lest ye be judged" That should say it all.

Because everyone seems to think they are better than others, that they are richer than others, that they are more good looking than others, that their religion is better than others! Because they are vain, snotty, and think they are perfect enough to judge the rest of us! Thats why! I try not to judge others I dont care if your poor or rich, fat or skinny, mormon or jewish, pretty or drop dead ugly! I dont care just be cool,laid back, honest, and not judge me ....then I will no judge you.

I absolutely agree with you that we should never judge because we are not in that person's place. However, I think non-Christians often take our sharing with them as an attack because they don't want to believe.

christianity will always judge just so that the real followers of god will always know true evil, do you know of any other propoganda organisation that has ran for so long
